Fans treated to series sweep of Georgia

To Commodore Fans:
Thank you for your tremendous support during the Georgia series. We had two sellouts and the second highest series attendance in Hawkins Field history to watch our Commodores sweep the Bulldogs. Our fans enjoyed three wins, a great fireworks show, a free tailgate, a post-game autograph session and Worth Scott’s baseball card day.

Your attendance and enthusiasm energizes our baseball team. Your encouragement picks us up when we need a boost and we appreciate that very much. You played a role in our weekend victories!

This year’s Southeastern Conference pennant race will be close and hard fought. We need you in the park for our remaining home stands, starting this weekend against a very good South Carolina team. With sellout games becoming commonplace, if you do not have season tickets I encourage you to arrive early to make sure you are not disappointed at the ticket window.

There is plenty of exciting baseball and fun happening at Hawkins Field these days. See you at the park!
