Weather forces Sunday doubleheader

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Due to inclement weather, No. 4 Vanderbilt and South Carolina’s middle game has been postponed to Sunday at 10 a.m. CT. The squads will play two seven-inning games from Founders Park. The finale of the doubleheader begins 40 minutes following the conclusion of the opener.

The Commodores (36-9, 16-6 SEC) will send right-hander Kumar Rocker (5-4, 4.31 ERA) to the mound against South Carolina (24-21, 5-17 SEC) righty Reid Morgan (3-4, 3.63 ERA). Senior righty Patrick Raby (7-1, 2.77 ERA) will start the finale.

Both games will be streamed on the SEC Network Plus, available via the WatchESPN app. Fans can also tune in on WNSR 560 AM/95.9 FM and VUCommodores.com. Vanderbilt is searching for its 10th-consecutive victory and sixth-straight road win.
