Black & Gold Invite Action Continues

Tournament wraps up Sunday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt men’s tennis continued play Saturday as it hosts the Black & Gold Invitational at the Lummis Family Tennis Center.

Oscar Jensen scored a victory for the Dores defeating Belmont’s Niklas von Hellens, while Vanderbilt’s Paul Wang played two tight matches. He fought back to take the second set against Ruben Busch of Belmont but fell in the third set. He also partnered with Mitchell Deames, falling in a tiebreak to a Memphis duo.

The Black and Gold Invitational resumes at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday. Vanderbilt will take the court at 1:30 p.m. against Middle Tennessee.
