Vanderbilt will welcome three teams to the Nashville regional with Oklahoma State the two seed, Troy the three seed and Belmont the four seed. Vanderbilt and Belmont will play at 7 p.m. on Friday night with Oklahoma State and Troy kicking off the tournament at 2 p.m.

To prepare fans for the regional, Vanderbilt’s ticket office has put together a list of frequently asked questions to help guide fans. For any additional information, please contact the Vanderbilt Ticket Office at 615-322-GOLD (4653).

Frequently Asked Questions about NCAA Baseball Regionals & Super Regionals

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

1. How many games are possible in a Regional and Super Regional Tournament?

a. A Regional can have as many as seven games involving four different teams. A Super Regional is the best-of-three games between two teams.

2. What will the dates be for the NCAA Regional and Super Regional?

a. Regionals would take place June 3 – 5 (If necessary, the Regional Championship game could be played on June 6.). The Super Regional would take place June 10 – 12.

TICKET INFORMATION

1. What is the priority for purchasing tickets?

a. As with any Vanderbilt post-season event, National Commodore Club members who have given donations for the current year are entitled to purchase according to NCC Priority Point levels. Any seats left are then offered to baseball season ticket holders who are not NCC members. These orders are processed in the order received beginning with those who sent in reservations with payments with their renewals in December of 2010.

2. What is the priority for filling seats after the NCC members?

a. Champions Circle/Bullpen Club, 2011 Baseball Season Ticket Holders, Non-Baseball Season Ticket Holders, and general public.

3. What are the prices for seats for the Regional and Super Regional?

a. Regional prices are $257 (VIP Package), $85 (Infield Reserved seats), $70 (Outfield Annex seats), $60 (Outfield Annex Youth seats 17 and under).
b. Super Regional prices are $257 (VIP Package), $90 (Infield Reserved seats), $70 (Outfield Annex seats), $60 (Outfield Annex Youth seats 17 and under).

4. How many tickets can I order?

a. A total of four tickets per account is permitted for non-NCC members.

5. Will the Hawkins Field be cleared after each game?

a. Yes, each game will be its own event. By purchasing a tournament book you will have a ticket to all of the games played and not just the games that Vanderbilt participates in.

6. I purchase season tickets, why can’t I sit in my regular seat for the NCAA Regional and Super Regional?

a. These events are sanctioned by the NCAA and in essence are not home games for Vanderbilt. Also, 200 seats must be held for all four participating teams and must be between homeplate and either the third or first base bag. This total of 800 seats takes out many prime seats in Hawkins Field.

7. I have already sent in my payment, does that guarantee me seats?

a. The payment sent in, either via check, cash, or accepted credit card, was a reservation. No actual payments have been recorded and will not be until an official announcement is made on May 30. After seats are allocated by NCC Priority, an email confirming the seat and charge will be sent to the email address you supplied.

8. Do the prices quoted here include a processing fee and does everyone have to pay that processing fee?

a. All prices quoted here in the FAQ include processing fees and everyone must pay the processing per ticket fee.

9. If I am successful in purchasing Regional and Super Regional tickets, when can I pick them up or will you mail them to me?

a. No Regional or Super Regional tickets will be mailed. All will be available for will call pick up. The earliest pick-up would be is on Tuesday, May 31 beginning at noon. You will get an email with specific information. Super Regional ticket will call availability will be emailed to you at a later date.

10. Will there be any single-session tickets available for sale in advance or the day of the game?

a. Single-session ticket availability is based on how many packages are sold. At this time, the reserved seating in the bowl is in high demand. The Vanderbilt ticket office will not be able to say whether there will be any seats available from other allotments until approximately 72 hours at the earliest after the teams are announced.

11. If there are any single session tickets available, is the pricing available?

a. Infield reserved seating is $17 per seat. Outfield seating will be $11 per seat and a youth outfield single session seat will be $9. Convenience fees will apply online and over the phone for all orders. All single session prices include one game and are subject to availability. Naturally, if all seats are sold as tournament packets, there will be no single session tickets.

12. I have an infant, do they need to have a ticket to enter?

a. Yes, everyone regardless of age must have a ticket to enter the game. This is a Vanderbilt policy for all games. Youth priced tickets will be available in the outfield.

13. Will I be able to come into a game for free that I don’t have a ticket for if it is after a certain inning?

a. Everyone will need a ticket for each game, regardless of what inning the game is in.

14. What is the rainout policy?

a. Since all games must be played in an NCAA Regional and Super Regional to award a Championship, no games will be cancelled. Games may be postponed due to weather and the ticket that you purchase will be good for when that game is actually played or continued. All sales are final, there are no refunds.

PARKING

1. I’m planning on attending the Regional and Super Regional, where do I park?

a. Parking is available for fans in the Medical Center lots located along Natchez Trace and Vanderbilt Place. Additional parking will also be available in the 25th Ave. Parking Garage. Fans wishing to park in the 25th Ave. Garage should enter from the Highland Ave. side entrance. Both parking areas are approximately one block away from Hawkins Field.

2. Is there a charge to park in these lots?

a. There is no charge to park in these lots, however parking is first-come, first-served.

3. Is tailgating allowed in these lots?

a. Tailgating is not allowed in the 25th Ave. Garage, however tailgating is permitted in the Medical Center flat lots along Natchez Trace. Fans are required to clean up after themselves and are asked to be respectful to those around them.

4. Are there any road closures that I need to be aware of?

a. Yes, Jess Neely Drive will be closed to all normal vehicular traffic throughout the Regional and Super Regional weekends.
