Baseball Recruits Named Preseason All-Americans 2/2/2006 Nashville, Tenn. – Four members of Vanderbilt’s baseball recruiting class for next season were named Louisville Slugger Preseason High School All-Americans by Collegiate Baseball this week. The senior trio of outfielder/pitcher Kyler Burke (Ooltewah HS/Ooltewah, Tenn.), pitcher Richie Goodenow (Overton HS/Memphis, Tenn.), and pitcher Mikie Minor (Forrest HS/Chapel Hill, TN) were all first-team selections while senior outfielder/pitcher Jordan Wormsley (Webb School/Knoxville) was a second-team pick. This group was among seven student-athletes who signed letter-of-intents last fall during the early signing period and are slated to play for the Commodores next spring. |
