NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt men’s basketball has signed 6-foot-4 transfer guard T.O. Barrett after the Oklahoma City native spent his first two seasons at Missouri.
Barrett played in all 33 games for the Tigers in 2025-26 while starting each of the final 14 games. He averaged 8.6 points and 3.0 assists per contest in his sophomore season. Barrett was even better in SEC play, averaging 11.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists while starting 12-of-18 conference contests.
Barrett scored in double figures in 11 of the final 16 games last season, including a career-high 28 points in a win over Tennessee on Feb. 24. He scored 15 or more points in five of the final 11 games, including another 21-point performance against Oklahoma on Jan. 24.
Barrett posted multiple steals in 13 contests this season, including matching his career best with three takeaways against Kentucky in the SEC Tournament. He also added a career-high seven assists against the Wildcats.
As a freshman in 2023-24, Barrett appeared in 19 games while shooting 58 percent from the field. Prior to Mizzou, Barrett spent his final high school season at Link Academy where he helped the Lions to the semifinals of the Chipotle National Championship. Barrett was a two-time state champion at Edmond North High School in his native Oklahoma City.
Barrett is the fourth signee for the Commodores out of the transfer portal. The guard will be a junior in 2026-27 campaign in black and gold.
