With the SEC Network officially set to begin on Thursday, the Commodores have announced a team of experienced professionals to work school-produced broadcasts that will air on the SEC Network’s digital platform, SEC Network +.

The broadcasts will begin on Thursday when the Vanderbilt soccer team hosts UAB at 4 p.m., and will provide Commodore fans with a professional, high-definition broadcast of a majority of home and road events that are not televised by the SEC’s network partners, which includes CBS, the ESPN family of networks (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU), and the SEC Network.

Kevin Ingram, a long-time radio talk show host and former sideline reporter for Vanderbilt Football radio broadcasts, will anchor the school’s in-house play-by-play duties for the Commodores’ SEC Network + broadcasts. Ingram has called Belmont basketball on the radio for 11 seasons and has co-hosted 104.5 the Zone’s Wake Up Zone for 10 years, both duties that he will continue while assuming his new SEC Network assignment with Vanderbilt. Ingram also did Vanderbilt football sidelines for over 10 years, high school football Thursday Night Lights for five seasons, and is starting his third year on the OVC Football Game of the Week.

“When the SEC Network was announced, I knew it was something I wanted to be involved with in some way, and it couldn’t have worked out better,” said Ingram. “This is a great opportunity to work with my friends at Vanderbilt, and exciting to think about what’s ahead as well as the increased exposure for VU and all the schools in the league.”

Dean McCondichie joins Vanderbilt’s SEC Network + production team as an Associate Producer after 15 years of experience working in the Nashville television market. McCondichie worked with WKRN from 1999 to 2003 as a promotions writer and producer for News 2 and then became a senior promotions writer and producer for Sinclair Television in 2003 and 2004. From 2004 to April of 2014, he was the executive producer for Titans All-Access, a seasonal weekly team television show for the Tennessee Titans.

“It is very exciting to be a part of the SEC Network launch — it’s a part of history, and remarkably even more of an honor to be doing it representing the Vanderbilt Commodores,” said McCondichie. “There are exceptional people here, and the potential is off the charts!”

Doug Stanton comes to Vanderbilt as the executive producer of the school’s SEC Network + broadcasts after spending over 20 years producing live events in the Midwest. His most recent work came producing Chicago Cubs, White Sox, Bulls, and Blackhawks games for WGN-TV in Chicago, where he worked from 2008 to 2014. Prior to his work at WGN, Stanton produced St. Louis Cardinal games for Fox Sports Midwest from 1998 to 2008, while also producing Nebraska and Kansas State basketball games for the network from 2004 to 2008. Stanton began his career in television as an associate producer for SportsChannel Chicago in 1991, where he helped produce Bulls, White Sox, and various college and high school events in the midwest.

“I’m thrilled to be at Vanderbilt and contributing to the launch of the SEC Network,” said Stanton. “The sky is the limit to the opportunities that lie ahead for not only the student athletes but also the viewers that will have fantastic access to all of the sports the SEC has to offer.”

Working along Kevin Ingram on soccer broadcasts will be Megan Forester, who is a 2010 Vanderbilt graduate and four-year letter winner in soccer. While playing for the Commodores, she earned first Team All-SEC as a senior, third-team All-Region and received the SEC Community Service Award. Forester was voted her team’s captain in 2008 and 2009, and finished her career with six goals, 11 assists and 23 points while playing in 73 games. Originally from Hendersonville, Tenn., Forester spent a year as a volunteer assistant with the Commodores while working toward her master’s degree at Lipscomb and spent one season as an assistant coach at Southern Miss in 2011.
