NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Commodores will face Southeastern Conference rivals Ole Miss, South Carolina, Florida and Tennessee along with three non-conference opponents on campus in Vanderbilt Stadium during the 2020 season, as announced today in a joint release from the SEC and Vanderbilt Athletics.
The Commodores will open next year at home against Mercer on Sept. 5. After back-to-back road games versus Missouri (Sept. 12) and Kansas State (Sept. 19), the Commodores close out September by hosting Colorado State on Sept. 26.
After going to Georgia on Oct. 3, Vanderbilt will play its first home game against an SEC foe on Oct. 10 when the Commodores host Ole Miss.
Four of the Commodores’ last five games in 2020 will be played on campus in Nashville: South Carolina (Oct. 31), Florida (Nov. 7), Louisiana Tech (Nov. 21) and Tennessee (Nov. 28). Vanderbilt’s lone road game in November will be at Texas A&M (Nov. 14).
Coming off an appearance in the 2018 Texas Bowl, Derek Mason’s Commodores will open the upcoming campaign by hosting Georgia on Aug. 31. Season and single-game ticket information is here.
