With the start of the 2004 Vanderbilt Baseball season less than two weeks away, the coaches and players can’t wait to get the season going. Each weekday leading up to first pitch, VUCommodores.com will sit down with the three Commodore seniors and the four coaches in a segment we call — 10 Questions With.

VUCommodores.com: What is the best baseball movie of all-time?
Jonathan Douillard: The Sandlot.

VU: What web site do you check first everyday?
JD: VUCommodores.com? first and last.

VU: What CD is in your player right now?
JD: A George Strait, Clint Black, Kenny Chesney and Garth Brooks mix.

VU: Who on the team talks the best chatter?
JD: Jensen Lewis? he is always coming up with good ones in the dugout.

VU: What’s the most obscure place you’ve ever played baseball?
JD: At a Coco Beach, Fla., tourney? no outfield fence, no lights and there was about 10 feet from home plate to the backstop.

VU: What is the biggest game on the schedule this year (to you personally)?
JD: Always Georgia? born and raised, gotta beat those guys.

VU: What major league ballpark would you like to play in?
JD: Fenway Park? so much tradition and ambiance.

VU: What pregame/in-game superstitions do you have?
JD: Can’t tell you here but it involves words and actions every inning, so watch close.

VU: How do you break in a new glove?
JD: Bullpens, bullpens, bullpens?

VU: Tell us some interesting fact about you.
JD: I traveled to Sweden in high school to represent the USA Junior Olympic Team Handball team? and that’s NOT wallball!
