TULSA, Okla. – Kris Yee was eliminated from singles play at the ITA All-American on Sunday, as he was knocked off by TCU’s Arnau Dachs 6-4, 7-5 in the third round of pre-qualifying action.
Yee was the lone Commodore in pre-qualifying play to advance past the first round. The freshman from Las Vegas, Nev., has started his Vanderbilt career on a solid note after winning two matches in Tulsa. He also won two matches at the season-opener (Southern Intercollegiates) in Athens, Ga.
Jeff Offerdahl and Ryan Lipman will begin qualifying action on Monday, while Gonzales Austin begins play in the main draw on Thursday.
