Commodores Wrap Up CSCAAs

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt swimming closed out the 2018-19 season racing in the final day of the CSCAA National Invitational. 
 
Freshman Lizzy Colwell earned her season-best time competing in the 200-yard breaststroke, touching the wall at 2:16.26, earning the freshman fifth place in the preliminaries and a spot in the finals. 
 
Touching in right behind Colwell, sophomore Hannah Hunt earned 21st place racing a time of 2:19.43.
 
Sophomore Brooke Ellis conclude the preliminaries for the Dores, competing in the 200-yard butterfly. 
 
Touching the wall at 2:03.06, the sophomore confirmed her spot in the finals of the event. 
 
Kicking off the finals for the Commodores, Colwell raced in the 200 breast, closing the event in 7th place (2:18.78).
 
Racing in the Commodores’ final event of the season, Ellis advanced to 17th place in the 200 fly touching in at 2:03.22.
