NEW YORK – October 19, 2006 – Vanderbilt University Athletics and CSTV Networks, Inc. have teamed up to create a brand new broadband channel, Commodore Nation All-Access, that offers exclusive Commodore content, including numerous live events. Commodore Nation All-Access is available for Vanderbilt fans who want to receive unlimited access to Commodore games live and on-demand at no cost. Commodore Nation All-Access is a virtual stadium – a seamless Internet experience – where viewers can follow all of Vanderbilt’s athletic programs and all of the Commodore content they desire without ever having to leave vucommodores.com. “We are certain our alumni and friends will appreciate the added video firepower we are adding to our official web site,” says Rod Williamson, Director of Media Relations. “We made a significant decision with the launch of this site that all of our video will be free of charge – and that includes live streaming of our baseball games and future live events yet to be determined. This is a big departure from the norm in the SEC and Division I athletics as most schools have subscriptions. We want our fans to get as much information about our programs as possible and not be concerned with payments.”
The broadband channel includes live events such as press conferences and interviews, game highlights, and video content from men’s and women’s soccer, and baseball.
