General Thoughts
– “Everybody was just cruising around the golf course today. There really was a great atmosphere going. They looked really relaxed playing.”

– “I told them to try to pick up from the spring semester, and they did that today.

– “I’m really proud of the way Grehan played today. She made it look easy, and I hope this is a start to a great senior year for her.”

On the Golf Course
– “No one really hit the ball great in the practice round, and I thought we could be in for a long round. But we went pretty low, and Georgia went really low, so you can put up good scores.”

– “It’s all Bermuda – fairways, greens, rough. It’s good to know that we played it if we get a chance to come back for nationals in May.”

On Marina’s round
– “Marina got off to a fantastic start. She was really aggressive and was getting the ball where she wanted it.”

On Freshman Rene Sobolewski’s round
– “She was like a deer in headlights, but she’s going to be fine. She has a great attitude about her.”Marina Alex

General Thoughts
– “I got off to a great start on the first hole and got it within two feet for birdie on the first hole. I had some good feelings going on early.”

– “I had the putter going and only had 27 putts, which is a low for me so far in my career.”

– “I played the practice round poorly, and I thought this was going to be a tough course. But, when I got out there today it was fairly easy.”

Her hole to remember
– “Probably a few…the first hole with the great approach, is one that sticks out. On my fourth hole, I hit a gap wedge and hit it where I wanted to. And on my 12th hole, I hit one within four or five feet and made the putt. I had things going early and was really aggressive, but made a double bogey on my eighth hole, so the 12th got me back on track.”
