Head Coach Scott Limbaugh on the 2024 Mason Rudolph Championship
“Playing at home in front of our fans at the Mason Rudolph Championship is always one of our favorite weeks of the year. It’s a great way to end the regular season. This team, and previous teams before, have worked to build a standard of excellence in everything we do and we take a lot of pride in being able to do that at home. I know everyone appreciates what this group has given to Vanderbilt University. Our golf team and I would love to feel that support over the weekend.
“I’m trying to slow down and enjoy every single moment I have with these guys. I think it’s important for our guys to be able to lock in this week on what’s important, while also knowing we haven’t played our best tournament yet this spring. We have definitely had guys step up every week, but we haven’t had that complete team tournament yet. There are a lot of things we need to tighten up before heading into championship season. Physically, it’s about being more accepting of what we are and where we are, and mentally, it’s about not losing concentration. We have one more opportunity to build another layer of toughness as a team and that’s what we need to do.”

It is his best finish this season, while it is Riedel’s fourth time placing inside the top 10 during the 2023-24 campaign.
