NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Vanderbilt swimming and diving team will return to the pool this weekend for a pair of dual meets. The Commodores (1-5) will travel to Huntington, W.Va., to face Marshall at the Frederick A. Fitch Natatorium at 4 p.m. on Friday before traveling to Lexington, Ky., to face the Wildcats and Cincinnati on Saturday.
The ‘Dores are coming off a pair of dual losses to South Carolina and UNC-Wilmington last weekend in Columbia, S.C. Freshmen Amy Salce and Ellen Kilgore clocked season highs of 10:25.88 and 10:42.79 in the 1000 free to lead VU in the longer freestyles.
Marshall (5-6) leads the all-time series with Vanderbilt 1-0, and is coming off a 165-104 loss to Ohio in their last outing on Jan. 19.
Following the Marshall match VU will head back south to Lexington, Ky., to face the Wildcats and Bearcats. The three-team meet will get underway at noon CT from the Lancaster Aquatic Center.
