VU-Kentucky kickoff time announced

The Southeastern Conference announced on Monday that Vanderbilt’s home finale with Kentucky on Nov. 12 will kickoff at 11:21 a.m. CT at Vanderbilt Stadium. The game will be televised by SEC Network.

Kentucky has won six of the last seven meetings with Vanderbilt with the lone Commodore victory coming in Lexington in 2008 to clinch bowl eligibility. Last season, the Wildcats rallied from a 13-10 halftime deficit to defeat the Dores, 38-20.

Also of note, the Commodore basketball teams will open their regular season with a doubleheader at Memorial Gym on Nov. 11, the night before the Vanderbilt-Kentucky contest. The women’s basketball team will entertain Alabama A&M at 6 p.m., followed by the men’s game with Oregon at 9 p.m.
