Starting Lineups
– Vanderbilt started junior Brad Tinsley and sophomore guard John Jenkins at the two guard positions, junior Lance Goulbourne and freshman Rod Odom at forward, and junior Festus Ezeli at center.
– Tinsley made his 76th start, Ezeli his 31st, Jenkins his 26th, Goulbourne his 11th, and Odom his fourth of his career.
– This marked the first time in Jeffery Taylor’s career he has not started. Taylor had started in 83 straight games prior to Tuesday’s game.
Postgame Notes
– Florida narrowed the Vanderbilt advantage in the overall series to 63-59. Florida now owns a 39-21 record against the Commodores in Gainesville.
– Tuesday’s overtime game was Vanderbilt’s third of the season – the Commodores are 0-3 in those three games (at Missouri, at South Carolina, at Florida).
– Vanderbilt head coach Kevin Stallings’ record against Florida moves to 7-17 overall and 2-10 at the O’Connell Center.
– Vanderbilt is now 1-3 on the road in SEC play. Two of the losses have come in overtime.
– Vanderbilt moves to 3-2 in 2010-11 against ranked teams. The other loss came at Missouri in overtime.
– The Commodores outshot Florida, 37.5% to 36.7%, but the shooting percentage was the team’s second-lowest of the season (vs. West Virginia, .328). Vanderbilt is now 13-3 in games in which they outshoot their opponent.
– Vanderbilt committed only nine turnovers against Florida, which tied a season-low. The Commodores also committed nine against Mississippi State, Davidson and Southeastern Louisiana.
– The Gators attempted 26 (15-26) free throws to Vanderbilt’s 18 (13-18), the second consecutive game that has happened. Prior to Saturday’s game with Arkansas, Vanderbilt had shot more foul shots than their opponents in 10 straight contests.
– Florida outrebounded Vanderbilt, 47-34, including 15-7 on the offensive glass. The Gators outscored the Commodores, 10-7, in second-chance points.
– Both teams made six three’s on the night – it marks the third consecutive game that VU and their opponent have made the same number of threes (1-2).
– The Commodores won the opening tip against Florida, and moves to 14-3 on the season when doing so. – Jeffery Taylor made a three-point basket at the 9:57 mark of the first half, which extended Vanderbilt’s consecutive games streak with a three-pointer to 783 games.
– The 61 points scored was the second-lowest total of the year for the Commodores. VU scored 59 points in a 59-49 win over Nebraska on November 18.

Individual Notes vs. Florida
– John Jenkins scored a game-high 22 points. It marked his third consecutive 20+-point game, his 12th of the season, and 14th of his career.
– Jenkins also tied his career-high in rebounds with six. He was also a perfect 4-of-4 from the free throw line.
– Brad Tinsley tallied 15 points, four rebounds, and two assists.
– Jenkins and Lance Goulbourne led the team in rebounding with six.
