COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Vanderbilt finished the second day of competition at the 2013 SEC Swimming and Diving Championships with another school record breaking performance Wednesday evening at the Texas A&M Student Recreation Natatorium.
Through two days of competition, the Commodores have set five new school records (200 medley relay, 200 free relay, 800 free relay, 200 IM and 50 free). Vanderbilt is currently in 12th place with 92 points. Georgia sits on top of the standings with 500 points.
To close out day two, Vanderbilt broke the school record in the 200 freestyle relay set all the way back in 1990. The relay consisted of Caroline Thomas, Sarah Lynch, Melissa Roberts and Hannah Martin, who touched the wall in a time of 1:34.56.
