Just prior to the football game against Eastern Michigan on Saturday, Commodore fans will have a chance to meet members of the Vanderbilt women’s tennis and lacrosse teams.
The teams will be at Gate 2 between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday signing autographs and taking pictures with fans prior to kickoff of the football game. Gate 2 is located in the southwest corner of the stadium at the intersection of Jess Neely Drive and Natchez Trace.
Both the women’s tennis and lacrosse teams are coming off NCAA Tournament appearances in the spring of 2010. The fall season is underway for the tennis team, with their next competition coming next weekend, Oct. 14-18, at the Ohio Valley Regional in Knoxville, Tenn. The lacrosse team will open its 2011 season at Presbyterian, Sat., Feb. 12.
