Lacrosse Magazine will release its annual college preseason rankings and players of the year in its January issue, but in the meantime they are taking a fan poll to “help shape the debate.”
Vanderbilt junior midfielder Ally Carey is one of four finalists for the honor. From laxmagazine.com:
Is she the top two-way midfielder in the game? Carey’s numbers in 2010 were indicative of that: 40 goals (tied for second on the team), 26 assists (2nd), 49 ground balls (1st), 63 draw controls (1st) and 42 caused turnovers (1st).
