Crews have spent the week preparing Dudley Field for Saturday’s kickoff by painting the lines and logos on the sod. The sidelines and borders of the word marks in the end zone were painted Tuesday. On Wednesday, workers filled in the end zone word marks and painted a new six-feet wide gold and white lines that run to the 25-yard line on both ends.
On Thursday the grass will be cut in the morning before each individual hash mark and number is added to field. The Star V and SEC logos will be added late Thursday or early Friday. Watch video of the field being prepared for kickoff here.
