#VandySwim dives into last road trip before SECs

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Vanderbilt swim team has one last road trip before SECs in mid-February. On Friday, Jan. 28th the `Dores will take on the Missouri Tigers in Columbia, Mo.

With a 5-5 overall record, and 0-3 conference slate, Vandy looks for their first league win of the season. With the competition at Missouri, the `Dores will also scout out the waters as this seasons SEC Championship will be held at the Tiger’s own Mizzou Aquatic Center.

In their last competition, the Commodores were edged out by Arkansas in their first quad meet of the season. The second place finish consisted of 14 podium fishes, and one first place finish by Breanna Sapienza in the 100 fly at a time of 55.26.

Missouri heads into Friday’s dual meet coming off back-to-back wins over Drury and Missouri State. In their last competition, the Tigers nabbed first place finishes in 22 of 26 events with their188-51 victory over the Bears.

Friday’s meet will begin at 2:00 p.m. CT.
