- Vanderbilt men’s basketball opens play at the Vegas Showdown on Thursday with a 9 p.m. CT tipoff against NC State. All games at the Vegas Showdown will air on ESPN2.
- The Commodores and Wolfpack meet for a second-straight season after clashing in the Legends of Basketball Showcase in December 2022. NC State picked up a 70-66 win.
- Ezra Manjon leads the Dores with 18.8 points per game, tied for second in the SEC. The guard also leads the conference in free throw attempts (34) and makes (31). He has now scored 15 or more points in 11-straight games.
- Three days after producing his first career double-double in the win over UNCG, Colin Smith made it back-to-back double-doubles with 14 points and 11 boards against Central Arkansas.
- Freshman Isaiah West had his best scoring performance of his young career in the win over Central Arkansas with 12 points.
