ORLANDO, Fla. — Vanderbilt doubles pair, senior Siim Troost and junior Jeremie Casabon, fell short to Georgia Tech’s Andres Martin and Marcus McDaniel in the first round of the NCAA DI Doubles Championships on Wednesday afternoon.
After the matchup was postponed to Wednesday due to inclement weather in Orlando, the No. 19 Dore pair faced the No. 30 Yellow Jacket duo at 1 p.m. CT. Georgia Tech claimed the first set 6-2 over the Commodores. Set two saw the Dores pick up some momentum of their own, before ultimately falling to the Yellow Jackets 7-5. Georgia Tech claimed the match.
