Just when it didn’t seem as though SEC Media Days could get any larger, it has. The annual media event in Hoover, Ala., that draws nearly 1,000 media members every year has expanded from a three-day to a four-day event with the additions of Missouri and Texas A&M to the league. And the added teams will only increase the number of media in attendance in 2012.
Vanderbilt will get its opportunity to meet with the media on Tuesday – the first day of SEC Media Days. The Commodores will be represented by Head Coach James Franklin and seniors Jordan Rodgers (QB), Zac Stacy (RB) and Trey Wilson (DB). The contingent will depart Nashville early Tuesday morning and meet with the media from 3:20 – 6:00 p.m. CT at The Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover, Ala.
The Commodores are paired with SEC-newcomer Missouri. Preceding Vanderbilt and Missouri on Tuesday are South Carolina and Texas A&M. The two schools are scheduled to meet with the media from 1:00 – 3:50 p.m.
Each individual attendee will be shuffled through 13 different stops over the course of approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes. The stops will include meetings with the likes of ESPN, CBS, FSN, Sirius/XM and many more.

The SEC will air live video of Coach Franklin and Vanderbilt’s student-athletes on Tuesday afternoon on SEC Media Days Central. Franklin’s interview will air at 3:20 p.m., Wilson’s will come at 4 p.m. and Rodgers’ will follow at 4:20 p.m. Stacy will have the last interview of the day at 5:50 p.m.
SEC Media Days Central will also include updated quotes and video from every team at SEC Media Days.
ESPNU will have live coverage from SEC Media Days and will air Coach Franklin’s visit with the media in the main ballroom at 4:30 p.m. The coverage will also be available online at ESPN3.com.
