The Vanderbilt soccer team welcomes six freshmen this year, hailing from Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. In attempt to learn more about these six players, their interests and hobbies, we put them to the test with Vanderbilt Soccer Rapid Fire.
The idea is simple: answer as many random questions as possible in 30 seconds. We paired them up and had them take turns asking their teammates questions about anything from bucket list items, movie choices, favorite sports other than soccer and Vanderbilt history.
Defenders Hannah Menard (Orlando, Fla.) and Gabrielle Rademaker (East Lake, Fla.) jumped at the chance to go first.
The Commodores will see outside competition for the first time on Thursday when they host SEC foe Alabama in an exhibition game at 6 p.m. at the VU Soccer/Lacrosse Complex. Vanderbilt opens its season at home at 7 p.m. on Aug. 21 against Miami-Ohio. Admission is free to all home games and all home games will air on SEC Network + at secnetwork.com.
