Vanderbilt will play a home-and-home football series with North Carolina State of the Atlantic Coast Conference.

The Commodores and Wolfpack will play in 2026 and 2028, the schools jointly announced today. The teams will meet in Nashville on Sept. 19, 2026, then face off in Raleigh, N.C. on Sept. 16, 2028.

In addition to the two-game N.C. State series, Vanderbilt also announced it would host Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) opponents Alabama A&M and East Tennessee State in coming years.

Vanderbilt and N.C. State have squared off two previously, with the Commodores winning both games. The teams last met in the postseason, with the Commodores registering a 38-24 victory in the 2012 Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl. In the initial game between the schools, Vanderbilt notched a 7-0 home victory in 1946 over a No. 20 ranked Wolfpack squad.

The Commodores are 70-61-5 all-time against ACC teams, and have won their last four games against members of the conference.
