The Vanderbilt lacrosse program and head coach Cathy Swezey are pleased to announce the team’s 2018 signing class, welcoming seven high school seniors to Nashville.
Emily Brooks, Karlie Bucci, Bri Gross, Liv Lagomarsino, Megan MacGillis, Maddie Souza and Callie Sundin join the Commodores, comprising Swezey’s 22nd freshman class as Vanderbilt head coach.
“We are very excited about our signing class,” Swezey said. “These girls are extremely competitive and athletic as evidenced by their awards and accomplishments. They will fit right into the intense culture that this year’s team created and we can’t wait to have them here in August.”
Vanderbilt is coming off an 8-9 finish in 2018, with a 3-6 record in BIG EAST Conference play. The Dores will return eight of their 12 starters in the 2019 season, as the program moves to the American Athletic Conference for the league’s inaugural year of women’s lacrosse.
