-Vanderbilt’s defense held Kentucky to just 9-29 (31%) shooting from the field in the first half.

-Luke Kornet hit a 3-pointer with 8:03 remaining in the first half to give Vanderbilt a 25-6 lead, its largest of the game.

-In total, Vanderbilt led the game for 33:52 of game play.

-A 3-pointer from Riley LaChance gave Vanderbilt a 60-59 lead, its last of the game, with 4:12 left in the game.

-Vanderbilt shot 11-28 (39%) from 3-point range.

Player Notes:

-Luke Kornet scored a team-high 21 points on 7-13 shooting from the field.

-Joe Toye joined Kornet in double-figures scoring with a career-high 15 points.

-Riley LaChance and Jeff Roberson led all Commodore rebounders with six boards apiece.

-Matthew Fisher-Davis was the top assist man for Vanderbilt with three dishes.
