Vanderbilt Athletics to Host Virtual 5K

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — In support of breast cancer awareness month, the Oct. 30 Vanderbilt football game against Missouri at Vanderbilt Stadium will help support breast cancer awareness. In conjunction, Vanderbilt Athletics will be hosting a virtual 5K open to the public.

Participants have the flexibility to run during the week of Oct. 24-30 by downloading the Strava mobile application and joining the Vanderbilt Breast Cancer Awareness Virtual 5K Club.

Those who register by Oct. 16 will be guaranteed a T-shirt and can pick up the shirt at check-in at the fan experience table on game day Oct. 30. The table is located on Dudley Court and opens two hours prior to kickoff. Additional T-shirts will be available for registrants while supplies last.

Each registrant will receive a Vandy-Missouri game ticket upon registering. Registered teams will be seated together. Season-ticket holders may register for $10 which does not include an extra ticket.

By registering, fans are automatically entered to win prizes including autographed items from Vanderbilt head coach Clark Lea, a Vanderbilt Athletics prize pack, tickets to future football games and more. Winners will be alerted in advance of game day and can pick up their prize at the fan experience table on Dudley Court.

The largest registered team will be awarded with T-shirts, an on-field photo, a welcome graphic on the video board and upgraded seats.
