Vanderbilt Athletics and the Commodore football program are partnering with two of Music City’s top attractions, Nashville Shores and Nashville Zoo at Grassmere, for special promotions this summer.
The upcoming summer promotions – `Dores at the Shores on Friday, July 17 and Commodore Fan Appreciation Day at the Zoo on Sunday, Aug. 2 – will feature discounted admission prices, autographs opportunities, prize giveaways, and several other Commodore-related activities for fans of the program.
Both promotions feature substantially reduced admission for Commodore fans:
• The Nashville Shores event is $18 per person (21.84 including taxes and fee) by using the code “GODORES” at the front gate or online at www.nashvilleshores.com.
• Admission for Commodore Appreciation Day at the Zoo is $10 for ages 13 and over, and $5 for youth ages 2-12.
Venue parking for both attractions will be regularly priced.

Don’t miss a great day of sun and fun with the Commodore Football program. Members of the Vanderbilt program will be on hand for autographs, prize giveaways, and several special activities, including the Biggest Commodore Splash Contest or Fastest Commodore in a Canoe. Fans are encourage to come early and stay late as the Dive-In movie feature is “Big Hero 6.”

Appreciation Day at the Zoo is a special activity for Commodore fans and the animal lover in all of us. Vanderbilt fans are encouraged to wear Commodore colors and logo merchandise to receive special zoo discounts. Autographs and inflatables for young Commodore fans, along with several family games and contests, are featured activities at the zoo celebration.
