Updates from uniform unveiling Wed.

300_uniform.jpgVanderbilt fans will receive their first look at the Commodores’ new uniforms for the 2012 season on Wednesday night during a public unveiling at the Barnes & Noble at Vanderbilt (2501 West End Avenue).

The event is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. CT and is free to attend. Parking is available in the 2525 Garage next to the Marriott, and you can validate your parking for free at Barnes & Noble.

The uniform unveiling will take place on the southwest side of the first floor where the technology department is located. Seating will be available in front of the stage where Coach James Franklin will unveil Vanderbilt’s new threads. There will also be ample standing room to watch the event.

Following the event, Coach Franklin will hold a meet and greet session with fans in attendance and will autograph Vanderbilt football posters at that time. Willy Daunic and Greg Pogue from 102.5 The Game’s Sports Revolution show will broadcast live from the Barnes & Noble cafe starting at 3 p.m. CT. Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to have ‘VU’ hand sign photos taken with numerous Vanderbilt items including the gold anchor, a black helmet and the 2012 SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament Championship trophy.
