TULSA, Okla. — Senior Nathan Cox opened up the 2025-26 fall season for the Vanderbilt men’s tennis team with a win in the opening round of prequalifying at the ITA All-American Championships hosted by Tulsa on Saturday.
Cox, matched up against Notre Dame’s Peter Nad, quickly took the initial set 6-2. Set two was much closer, but Cox was able to finish off his Fighting Irish counterpart 6-4 and advance. The senior moves on to the second round of prequalifying and will face Andrej Loncarevic of LSU tomorrow at a time to be determined. The men’s All-American tournament page is available online.
