- The Commodores dropped a 78-75 affair against Alabama in the SEC opener. Vanderbilt trailed by 18 early in the first half and erased the deficit to just four by half.
- The Dores’ last three losses have come by a combined six points. Vandy fell in a 1-point game to Western Carolina, a 2-point game at Memphis and a 3-point contest against Alabama.
