NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Vanderbilt swim team has announced the time for its dual meet against in-state rival Tennessee. The Commodores will take on the Volunteers at 5:30 pm CT inside Centennial Sportsplex next Friday, Nov. 4.
Vanderbilt and Tennessee will face-off in a dual meet for just the second time since the Commodores have revived the program in 2006. The ‘Dores traveled to Knoxville back in 2013 and fell in a close meet, 155-86. The Commodores had many close races that afternoon and came away with three wins in the last dual meet of the season that year.
Fans are encouraged to come out to Centennial Sportsplex and come early, as the first 150 fans will receive a free Vanderbilt t-shirt. Members of the Vanderbilt cheer squad will be there to support the Commodore swim team as they take on the Volunteers next Friday night.
