NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After a ten-day break from competition, the Vanderbilt swim team travels to Buies Creek, N.C. to faces off against Campbell and North Carolina A&T in a tri-meet at the Johnson Aquatic Center.

The Commodores enter Saturday’s 11:00 am competition with a 1-4 record, earning a win over Oregon State. In their last competition, Vandy registered five first place wins with sophomore Kara Lucenti earning first-place finishes in the 200-breaststroke and 400 IM.
Last season Vanderbilt opened it’s season at the Centennial Sportsplex defeating the Camels 207-54; with Kathryn Coughlin, Carrie Bencic and Kara Lucenti all earning points for the black and gold. In relays, Vandy earned additional points with first and second place finishes against Campbell in the 400 free relay.
