• Vanderbilt leads the all time 13-8-6 overall, in a series that began in 1996 with a 6-0 Commodore win
• The programs met earlier this year twice, once in the regular season resulting in a 0-0 draw in Music City to open conference play and then in the SEC Tournament Championship which went to PKs with Vandy winning 8-7

The Opponent
• LSU enters the contest 15-5-4 overall, coming off a 2-1 win over Iowa in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, advancing to the Sweet 16 for the first time in program history
• The Tigers are currently on a 13 match unbeaten streak, their longest in program history, with their last loss coming at Tennessee on Sept. 21
• LSU scored their most goals in SEC play since 2011 with 20 and currently lead the league in total goals scored with 54 on the season
Scouting Report
• Ava Galligann, leads the team with 11 goals and four assists for 26 points and has reached career-bests in every category. Registered a career high five points against Florida this season and was named All-SEC First Team
• Ida Hermannsdottir leads the team with 27 points off 10 goals and seven assists and was named All-SEC Second Team. Starting all 24 games this year, has also seen career highs in every category this year
• Sydney Cheesman, All-SEC Second Team, anchors a Tiger defense that allowed just 1.06 goals per game and helped record six shutouts in 24 matches
Last Time Out
• Adysen Armenta delivered a golden goal in the 107th minute to lift No. 1 seed Vanderbilt past eighth-seeded Clemson, 3–2, in a NCAA Second Round matchup Friday night at the Vanderbilt Soccer Complex. Clemson (8-6-5) struck early, converting a penalty just 47 seconds into the match as Renee Lyles put the Tigers ahead 1-0. Despite generating 10 first-half shots and eight corner kicks, Vanderbilt entered halftime trailing.
• The Commodores (17-3-2) responded quickly after the break with two goals in two minutes. Sydney Watts tied the match in the 55th minute for her 15th goal of the year, finishing a cross from Maci Teater and Mary Beth McLaughlin. Moments later, McLaughlin pounced on a loose ball and buried an unassisted strike to give Vanderbilt a 2–1 advantage. A Commodore handball in the box forced a second penalty in which Anna Castenfelt converted to tie it up and send it to overtime.
• Vanderbilt broke through in the 107th minute. Armenta collected a deflection near the top of the box and ripped the golden goal into the net, securing her third score of the season and sending the Dores to its second straight Sweet 16
Protecting The Plex
• The Dores finished the regular season unbeaten at home, going 8-0-1, for the first time since 2018 when they went 10-0-1
• The last the Commodores lost at home was Sept. 26, 2024 when Arkansas visited, which means Vandy has a 11-0-2 record since then

• Vandy’s defense has the fourth-best GAA in the country at .536
• Wojo leads the charge in net, with the current fourth-best GAA in a single season in program history
• For her career, she’s at .71 which is currently the third-best in program history in the career category

• This season, she has posted 10 shutouts which is third most in a single season in program history and tied for ninth in the country
