ATLANTA – U.S. Soccer announced its final roster for the Under-19 Women’s National Team, with Vanderbilt freshman Olivia Stafford earning a selection.
The United States will face the Argentina U-19 Women’s National Team on April 14 and April 17 at the Argentina Football Federation Training Center in Buenos Aires.
Stafford, a 2025 SEC All-Freshman Team honoree, led the Commodores with eight assists during their historic campaign, a mark that is tied for 12th on Vanderbilt’s all-time single-season list. The Virginia native added five goals, including one game-winner, totaling 18 points in her rookie season.
She recorded an assist in five consecutive games, becoming just the sixth player in program history to achieve the feat, and appeared in all 24 contests, making 22 starts. Stafford logged over 1,500 minutes while helping lead Vanderbilt to an SEC Tournament Championship and its first-ever Elite Eight appearance.
The roster also features three NWSL players—midfielder Melanie Barcenas (San Diego Wave FC), goalkeeper Evan O’Steen (Seattle Reign FC) and forward Micayla Johnson (Chicago Stars FC)—along with defender Sealey Strawn of Dallas Trinity FC, the lone USL Super League representative. The remainder of the roster is comprised of collegiate players.
