ATLANTA – Vanderbilt forward Olivia Stafford was among 20 players selected Thursday to the U.S. Soccer Under-19 Women’s National Team roster for two matches against Germany on June 5 and 9.
The squad – which includes one NWSL player and a pair of USL athletes – will head to Frankfurt, Germany, on May 31 to take part in a training camp and two matches at the DFB Campus, Germany’s National Training Center.
Stafford, a rising sophomore at Vanderbilt, logged a team-high eight assists on her way to a 2025 SEC All-Freshman Team selection. She added five goals, totaling 18 points for the Dores on their way to an SEC Tournament title and NCAA Elite Eight.
The Virginia native recorded an assist in five consecutive games, becoming just the sixth player in program history to achieve the feat, and appeared in all 24 contests, making 22 starts.
It’s the second call-up in as many cycles for Stafford, who also represented her home country against the Argentina U-19 squad in Buenos Aires. Of the 17 collegiate players selected to the roster, Stafford is one of two from the SEC.
