Paul Echelberry
Athletic Trainer (Track and Field, Cross Country)
Paul Echelberry joined Vanderbilt Athletics as an athletic trainer working directly with the Commodore cross country and track and field programs in 2023.
Prior to his arrival in Nashville, Echelberry was an assistant athletic trainer working with cross country and track and field at Cincinnati for two seasons. He also has over a year of experience working with women’s basketball and men’s and women’s soccer at Thomas More (Ky.) and completed an undergraduate internship at Maryland in the fall of 2017.
Echelberry received his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Cincinnati in 2018, and he added a master’s degree in ethical leadership from Thomas More in 2020, where he served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer working directly with the school’s football, track and field and dance teams during the 2019-20 season. A member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and Greater Lakes Athletic Trainers’ Association, he enjoys running and playing with his dog, Gracie, in his free time.
