Entering her third year as Vanderbilt’s head travel advisor, Mandi Carter oversees all Vanderbilt sports travel needs ranging from recruiting and official visits to team travel.
Carter has been in the travel industry for 13 years. She started her career in leisure travel then moved into corporate travel. Previously, Carter worked with a pharmaceutical company, Sanofi Aventis. In this role she supported VIP physicians and staff with all travel needs for their research as well as attending seminars.
Born and raised in Nashville, Carter currently resides in the Lebanon area where she enjoys the city life but also admires the view of the Smoky Mountains from her deck. She is married to Jason Carter. The couple has been married for 11 years. The two also have a daughter, Amanda who is currently a junior in Athens Business College.
