Kaylyn Norville

Athletic Trainer (Swimming)

Kaylyn Norville came to Vanderbilt Athletics as athletic trainer for the swimming program in August 2024.

She worked the previous two years as associate head athletic trainer for men’s basketball at Western Carolina, while Norville also has experience as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for men’s basketball and swimming and diving at North Carolina. In addition, she has served as an athletic training intern for the Wilson Tobs baseball team in the Coastal Plain League, as the host athletic trainer at the NCAA Men’s College Cup and ACC women’s lacrosse tournament, and as a medical observer for the North Carolina Courage of the NWSL.

Norville earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise and sports science – athletic training with minors in sociology and history from North Carolina in 2020, adding a master’s degree from the school in 2022 in exercise and sport science with a specialization in athletic training. A BOC certified athletic trainer, she is certified by the National Athletic Trainer Association (NATA) and the American Red Cross as well.
