Alison Wenzel

Swimming Administrator

Alison Wenzel currently serves as the associate athletic director for student-athlete development and sport administrator for the swimming program. Wenzel provides programming for Vanderbilt’s student-athletes that will prepare them for life after Vanderbilt. She oversees all career development, personal development and community outreach initiatives for the student-athletes. Wenzel spearheads the department’s summer internship program, “I Am More Than a Student-Athlete” initiative and international service trips with Soles4Souls.

Wenzel joined Vanderbilt Athletics in 2004 as an intern in the marketing department and transitioned into the role of life skills coordinator in 2006.

Wenzel enjoys time outside of work with her husband, Justin, an athletic trainer at Vanderbilt, and their two children, Calla and Casey. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Wenzel earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Florida.
