Coach Nelson on Taylor Porter… Taylor is a do-everything utility player with a one-of-a-kind personality. She adds to every single team she’s on and is a proven winner in high school and club. Taylor possesses a unique combination of athleticism and skill that you rarely see in athletes her age. She has the ability to pass and defend the best servers in the country, as well as the arm to contribute as an attacker.

Why Vanderbilt?
I chose Vanderbilt, because I wanted to be a part of making history and be the first in building out a new program. I love the coaching staff, and the school is also in the SEC. Vandy offers so many opportunities beyond volleyball that’ll help me in the long run.
