Coach Nelson on Kayla Dunlap… Kayla is a local product with massive potential. At 6-4, she plays high above the net as an attacker and blocker. She is focused, determined and passionate on the court. She shows how great she wants to be. She also understands the significance of being the first Nashvillian on our roster and wants to be a role model for young athletes in the area.

Why Vanderbilt?
I never thought about staying in state for college. Russ, Lauren and Anders helped me realize that having my family close after moving around meant the world to me. They instantly connected with me. I planned on a school with challenging academics. Nashville is home, and it always will be.
