DeBeer swam at Sacred Heart Academy under head coach Jim Luebbe… During her time at Sacred Heart, DeBeer helped her team become 4x State Champions and 4x Regional State Champions… Achieved the title of 2x First Team All-State as well as the title of NISCA All-American… Named the SHA Junior Athlete of the Year in 2017 and in the same year was also named a Courier Journal Finalist for Girls Swimmer of the Year… In 2018 earned the honor of being named the Midway University/KHSAA Female Swimming & Diving Student Athlete of the Year, received the 2018 Senior Scholar Athlete Award, the SHA Leadership Award and the SHA Scholar Athlete Award… Debeer  set two school records at Sacred Heart… Broke the record for the 100 Y fly and the 200 Y medley relay… Set a state record in the 200 Y medley relay… Captain of the varsity swim team her senior year… Set many personal records in freestyle in the previous season… Broke her record in the 50 Y free with a time of 23.18… Broke her record in the 100 Y free with a time 51.34… Swam her fastest 200, 500 and 1000 Y free with times of 2:12.75 in the 200 Y, 5:08.50 in the 500 Y and 11:27.74 in the 1000 Y free…
