As a freshman (2008): Played in 18 games as a reserve … scored first collegiate goal against Arkansas (10/19) … Finished with 10 shots on season, including career best four against Mississippi State (10/26) … named to SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll.

High school/club: Led Yorktown HS Patriots to three consecutive National District Championships (2005-2007)… Earned individual 1st Team All-District and 2nd Team All-Region honors in 2007… Team Captain during her junior and senior years… MVP her senior year with 10 goals and 11 assists. Played for Reston Football Club.

Personal: Lyndsey Elizabeth Wilcox… Parents are Gary and Angie Wilcox… Has two older sisters, Erin and Amy (who played for the Commodores from 2005-08)… All-District and All-Region in Cross Country and Track… Three times on Northern Region Athletic Honor Roll and three time recipient of the Virginia HS League Academic Excellent Award… Member of National Honor Society… President of Executive Board, governing body of high school, during her senior and junior years….
