As a freshman (2009): Highly-touted recruit didn[apos]t disappoint, starting all 18 games she played at midfielder … Named to SEC All-Freshman team Scored goals in three straight games against Murray State (8/30), Belmont (9/4) and Oklahoma (9/6), all victories … Goals against Belmont and Oklahoma were game-winners … Also assisted on game-winning goal against Ole Miss (10/25) … Took season-high five shots against Oklahoma … Led all Vanderbilt freshmen with seven points and 36 shots, 15 on goal … Away from Vanderbilt, she was named the Canadian U-20 Player of the Year and also served as team captain … Named to SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll.

Canadian National/U-20 Team (2008-09): Stewart had 17 caps for the U-20 team and scored two goals with them while participating in the FIFA U-20 Women[apos]s World Cup … won a gold medal at the 2008 CONCACAF Women[apos]s Under-20 Championship in Puebla, Mexico, after a 1-0 victory over the United States in the final … added to the National Team in the summer of 2008 and traveled to the Beijing Olympics … played for the National Team that advanced to the Cypress Cup Finals last spring … has six caps with the National Team.

High School/Club: Stewart is a highly decorated player and 2007-08 National Soccer Coaches Association Youth All-American … Played at Mountain Vista High in Colorado from 2004-07 and attended Shattuck-St. Mary[apos]s in Faribault, Minnesota … Considered as a player to watch and a Top-11 player in the Rocky Mountain Region by Top Drawer Soccer. In club soccer, Stewart has been a prominent player on the Region IV ODP squad, serving as team captain.
