2018: One of Vanderbilt’s four team captains… Started all 17 games of her senior season as a defender… Finished the year with 20 ground balls and five caused turnovers… Picked up a ground ball against UConn on April 22… Earned a ground ball and a caused turnover at Temple on April 18… Had a ground ball and a caused turnover on April 14 vs. Georgetown… Notched two ground balls and a caused turnover in the win over Cincinnati on April 4… Had a ground ball and a caused turnover vs. Oregon on March 28… Registered two ground balls at Butler on March 25… Collected a ground ball at St. Joe’s on March 11… Had three ground balls and a caused turnover at La Salle on March 8… Had a ground ball vs. William & Mary on March 5… Picked up two ground balls against Louisville on February 27… Had a ground ball vs. Furman in the home opener on February 24… Collected four ground balls and a draw control in the season opener against Kennesaw State, her first start as a Commodore.
2017: Played in two Commodore wins against Kennesaw State and Butler as a reserve defender… Won a draw control versus the Kennesaw State… Caused a turnover against Butler… Named to the 2017 Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll.
2016: Sat out the season due to transfer rules… Named to the 2016 Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll.
2015 (Freshman at Syracuse): Saw action in three games… Made her collegiate debut against Canisius… Helped Syracuse win the ACC Tournament championship and reach the Final Four… Member of 2014-15 Fall and Spring Athletic Director’s Honor Roll… Named to 2014-15 ACC Academic Honor Roll.
High School: Four-year starter for Meredith Frank at Notre Dame Academy… 2014 U.S. Lacrosse All-American… Eastern Massachusetts Girls Lacrosse Coches Association (EMGCLA) First Team selection… Member of squad that won school’s first Division 1 South Sectional title and Division 1 State Championship… Registered 24 goals, seven assists, 69 ground balls, 20 draw controls and 54 caused turnovers as a senior… Finished her career with 211 ground balls, 120 caused turnovers and 69 draw controls… Earned All-Scholastic honors from the Boston Globe, Boston Herald and Patriot Ledger… 2014 Notre Dame Academy’s Outstanding Athlete and Distinguished Athlete award… Played club lacrosse for Mass Elite under Meredith Frank… Also a member of the field hockey and indoor track and field teams at Notre Dame… Served as team captain for all three sports as a senior… Earned 12 varsity letters… Three-time DCL Indoor Track All-Star… Helped Notre Dame win 2013 Division II indoor track state championship and 2014 All-State championship… Three-time participant at New Balance Indoor Nationals… 2014 participant at New Balance Outdoor Nationals… Honor student and member of National Art Honor Society… Served as peer mentor her junior and senior years.
Personal: Mary Claire Dachille… Born November 14, 1995… Daughter of Kevin and Sharyn Dachille… Father played lacrosse at Pennsylvania … She has two brothers and one sister… Brother, Bob, played lacrosse at Wake Forest and is the head women’s lacrosse coach at Presbyterian College… Sister, Lauren, played lacrosse at Villanova… Majoring in Sociology.
