2008: Appeared in six games… Took two shots, one on-goal, against Albany… Saw time against Cincinnati, Virginia Tech and Cornell.


2007:
Played in three games… Scored all three of her goals in VU[apos]s 21-4 win
over Lehigh in March… Also had a ground ball and draw control in that game.


2006:
Saw action in five games… Played against ALC rivals Ohio and Northwestern, and against non-conference foes North Carolina, Hofstra and Notre
Dame… Had her first collegiate ground ball at Hofstra.


High School:

Four-year varsity letterwinner in lacrosse for the Suffern Mounties… Also lettered in field hockey and basketball… Led team to section championships in 2002 and 2005… Named to NYS Empire Team and National Team… Recognized as All-Section and All-County in the Hudson Valley.


Personal:

Born Carolyn Danielle Gioia on Jan. 28, 1987 in New York City… Daughter of Deirdre Murphy and Robert Gioia… Sister to Matthew… Plans to major in human and organizational development… Named to the 2007 SEC Academic Honor Roll.
